Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union was founded in 1937 and was originally chartered to service the employees and officials of other Hawaii credit unions, thus making Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union the “central credit union”.  Today, Hawaii Central Federal Credit Unions’s field of membership is open to all individuals who live, work, worship or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Honolulu County (Island of Oahu), Hawaii.

With over $260 million in assets and over 20,000 members, Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union remains true to the credit union’s philosophy of “people helping people” and continues owned and operated by our members.  As of January 2014, Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union is the 9th largest credit union on Oahu.
